Making Long lines seem shorter

 The terminal at Portland Airport is under a redesign. The city has grown quite a bit these 15 years and makes for some difficult holiday travel and long lines. My advice is leave early but the payoff will be after the terminal upgrade. 

I was delighted by this artwork on the loooooong corridor to my terminal. I felt a sense of anticipation waiting for the next installation and so did my 4 year daughter. It reminded me of a design challenge I had once to make the wait line at a restaurant more delightful and human centric. We installed photo booths!
