About Me: I’m a problem solver and am genuinely curious about the world. I’m also an MS graduate in Computer Science from Fordham University  and I completed my undergrad at NYU’s college of Arts and Science in Liberal Arts. I earned a BA is Political Science and spent allot that time reading the classics, and exploring topics in political science, philosophy, logic, and game theory. I developed my problem solving and analytical skills enormously while attending NYU. At Fordham, I strengthened my skills in software engineering, computer organization, network, and security principles and design. I've been working in high tech and information technology for over 15 years and have a broad management, consulting, and technological background with a solid record of progressive success in technology leadership positions in government and private sector. I currently manage a Business Systems and Internet Computing team for a global high tech company. My focus areas include high performance team management, vision, strategy & roadmap planning, organizational and operational development, and process and business development. I offer decisive leadership, effective communication skills, and an ability to lead, develop, and mobilize teams in fast paced environments.

I’m an associate member of IEEE, am ITIL foundations, and completed  a SCPD Computer Security course at Stanford University; And just in case I’ve bored you to near death ... I’ve just renewed my CPR certification in 2009. Here is my very outdated Fordham graduate student website and some projects and interests over the past decade.

In my free time, I enjoy reading (pretty much anything) , running, biking, and spending time outdoors exploring the pacific northwest with my lovely wife and our golden doodle Scrumpy. I am an avid traveller and in 2009, I trekked in the Everest region of eastern Nepal with my wife. I am developing into a foodie (Portland does that to you) and am a transplant from New York.  I am the cryptography category editor with DMOZ (the worlds largest human edited internet directory).  I am constantly recalibrating to find the right balance in my life and try to enjoy every minute of it.
