The Changing World Order

 I’ve always enjoyed world history and trying to make sense of our world through the lenses of our past. If you zoom out far enough - generalized pattens do emerge. 

 In Ray Dalio’s latest book - he tackles the ambitious task of doing so for the global economy , wealth, productivity, and our  market system.  

Here, Dalit generalizes a  cycle of the rise and decline of world order based on his study of the history great empires. It’s also an index for the relative power and health of the incumbent. 

I’ve just started the book - so will hold on did on my final commentary but will add to this post as I further unpack the concepts presented in this book.
