fossil

I was looking at this Ammonite fossil with my 2 year old son tonight before bedtime. I got in Asia and hadn't spent a ton of time with it. I thought it was pretty. I was reading the Wikipedia page to him (and myself) as he held it in his hand. It brought dimension to the otherwise flat web page.

I love the spiral design more as I touched it; so does nature. My mind wanders off  to the structure of DNA. This fossil could be 200 million years old. I can only hope   something I build leaves such a permanent impression.
