Portland Half Marathon 2012
I just got back from an epic trip to western Tibet and the Himalayas. I'm still downloading the Tibet experience and will save the details for a subsequent post. I'm still a bit jet lagged and scatter brained. For now, Fall is finally upon us in Portland and here are a few pictures from my first Portland Half marathon in October. What started out mostly as a dare from a friend, soon developed into a great way to stay fit this summer and prepare for my more physically challenging agenda -- Tibet and the high altitude of the Himalayas. Now I appreciate why Olympic athletes train in places like Colorado.
I'm not quite sure I'll do it again (Maybe with missus if she asks), however it was a blast and so much fun meeting my family at the finish line.
