Blue skies

I went on a hike in Washington this weekend to clear my head and to take advantage of the gorgeous weather.  Here are a few photos from our hike.  I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a beautiful day.  In other news I've started reading The Most Human Human by Brian Christian. The book chronicles a contest in England where humans and computers interact with a panel of human judges in a classic Turing test; The simple objective is for the judges to distinguish man from machine through a series of questions; Easier said than done.
The book is tackling the basic existential question: "what makes us distinctly human?" Where it gets good is how we're redefining what makes us human as technology increasingly advances ('encroaching' on our sacred domain) and this is NOT sci-fi. Good times.. The sun is shining .. I think I'm going outside now.
