Window shopping

I spent most of last week overseas and it was just the break I needed from all that is spinning up around me lately. I found a few days to work in a short holiday and used the opportunity to meet up with an old friend in Europe. It was great seeing Nick after 14 months and it didn't feel like over a year had passed. We spent most of the time swapping stories over good coffee. With the exception of a slight mix up in Frankfurt with my return flight (I still think the Germans just wanted me to stay a bit longer) the trip was exactly what I'd hoped for -- a chance to reconnect with myself and plan for the upcoming year.
