Crazy Al's Christmas Forest

I caught up on some reading and took a look at the Twisted book O'Reilly just released. Very interesting read and a refreshing approach. If you are interested in python - this may be a good read for you. Twisted is an MIT project and is an event driven networking framework written in python. I looked at an example for a simple http server and the script was 4 or 5 lines long. I'll be sure to post my progress.
I have updated the python wiki with a page on someTwisted examples and included a page on simple http proxy server .

Christmas Tree Shopping
These past few weeks seem to have just flown by. It snowed today and early this morning I caught glimpse of pristine snow on the tree tops. Its beginning to look a lot like ...
I drove upstate to a commencement ceremony for my brother-in-law's graduation this morning. It was a small ceremony, and aside from the 6 hours I spent in a car , it was nice. We celebrated his day over a late lunch before the trek home.
Well, the Christmas season is upon us and is certainly one of the warmest times of the year (pun intended) . We went to Crazy Al's Christmas Forest and that is always an adventure. We trimmed the tree this weekend and did a good job of it -- if I may say so myself.

Here are a few pictures from our saturday afternoon hijinks while Tree Shopping.
