Iffy
I read this quote this morning and it reminded me of things that frustrated me about yesterday and life in general. I wonder if people really seek the truth about things or if they just live to politcize and Blurr the reality that is right before their eyes.
I still am not convinced that you can or should run Veritas within an unprivledged DomU -- you can run a VM on a volume created in Dom-0 -- yes. Very similiar to LVM in linux you would create a veritas volume in Dom0 install the OS there and then expose it to the VM.
Anything otherwise violates the VM's isolation requirements and in addition, it contradicts the hw abstraction that is driving your entire Xen inititative. We'll see what develops. Was that a trick question ?
In real life, unlike in Shakespeare, the sweetness of the rose depends upon the name it bears. Things are not only what they are. They are, in very important respects, what they seem to be.
